Job summary

Qualifications

• Current State Licensed Nurse or Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years related experiences or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate, speak, read, and write English with residents and nursing staff.
• Experience in long-term care nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing unit and directs staff to provide safe, effective care.
• Responds to residents' needs by checking signals and call lights promptly.
• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Accurately records care provided and reports changes in residents' conditions.
• Coordinates with doctors, obtains medications, and maintains records per care plans.
• Ensures infection control, proper linens, and daily living activities are supported.
