Baptist Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Weekend Program in the Short Stay Unit. This part-time role runs 7p to 7a with a 15% shift differential and an additional 25% weekend differential, supporting age-appropriate patient care under RN guidance.

The position involves vital sign checks, hourly rounds, and assistance with hygiene, mobility, and daily activities. A high school diploma or GED and BLS are required within 90 days of hire.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• CNA preferred for the role.

Responsabilidades

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care under RN supervision.
• Record reported height/weight on admission and document.
• Turn and position patients every 2 hours with proper body mechanics.
• Assist with activity, ambulation, and mobility as ordered.
• Assist with personal hygiene including showering, bathing, shaving, and oral care.
• Take and record vital signs within established time frames.
• Conduct hourly rounds to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
