Job summary

Brookside Rehab & Nursing Center in Warrenton, VA is seeking an experienced RN or LPN Weekend Nursing Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and ensure exceptional care for our residents. You will supervise nursing staff, liaise with physicians and families, manage admissions/discharges, and ensure regulatory compliance while promoting a collaborative, patient‑centered culture.

The position is part-time, every other weekend, with shifts 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, and includes a

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Previous supervisory, charge nurse, or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting nursing staff and nursing assistants.
• Ensuring quality resident care while promoting a positive team environment.
• Responding to resident needs and clinical concerns in a timely manner.
• Providing guidance and support to staff throughout the shift.
• Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Communicating effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, incident follow-up, and clinical documentation as needed.
