Job summary

Brookside Rehab & Nursing Center in Warrenton, VA is seeking a dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join as an Overnight Supervisor. This role provides nursing leadership and ensures quality resident care throughout the overnight shift.

The position runs 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, is full-time, and offers competitive pay with a shift differential. Applicants should hold a Virginia RN license and have experience in long-term care; supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license.
• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during the overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and provide leadership during the overnight shift.
• Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and quality care.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Support CNAs, LPNs, and other nursing team members.
• Ensure medications, treatments, documentation, and physician orders are completed appropriately.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Address staffing and resident-care concerns during the shift.
• Complete required documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and other clinical needs as needed.
