Job summary

Heritage Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Rhode Island is seeking an Evening Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure safe, resident-centered care during a 3:00PM-11:00PM shift.

The role requires an active Rhode Island RN or LPN license, BLS, at least five years of nursing experience with supervisory responsibilities, and strong regulatory knowledge. We offer competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Oversee daily nursing operations to promote safe, effective, person-centered care delivery.
• Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and facility policies governing nursing care.
• Coordinate resident care plans and ensure timely communication across interdisciplinary teams.
• Support accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to clinical concerns and resolve issues involving residents, families, and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support facility-wide clinical goals.

Range $95,000.00 -$101,920.00 annually

Qualifications for Nurse Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN or LPN license in the state of Rhode Island.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare setting, with at least one (1) to two (2) years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing care centers.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to guide, support, and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining accountability and high standards of care.
