Job summary

North End Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Massachusetts seeks a Weekend Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN) for leadership of the nursing team. This part-time role offers 7am-7pm or 7am-3pm schedules and rewards with competitive hourly pay and daily pay options.

The Nurse Supervisor will oversee daily operations, ensure resident-focused care, enforce regulatory compliance, and drive quality improvement across the facility. Experience in supervisory roles is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered MA RN or LPN license.
• Valid BLS CPR certification.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience in a hospital, SNF, or similar setting with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and center policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Oversee daily nursing operations to promote safe, effective and person-centered care delivery.
• Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and facility policies governing nursing care.
• Coordinate resident care plans and ensure timely communication across interdisciplinary teams.
• Support accurate documentation in line with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to clinical concerns and assist in resolving issues involving residents, families, and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support facility-wide clinical goals.

Qualifications for Nurse Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare setting, with at least one (1) to two (2) years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing care centers.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to guide, support, and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining accountability and high standards of care.
