National Church Residences in Gahanna, OH is seeking a Nurse Assistant - Certified Preferred for a part-time weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am to 2:30 pm) at Stygler Commons, an assisted living community. The role provides direct resident care, supports activities of daily living, and collaborates with nurses to ensure safety, dignity, and comfort for seniors.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma (GED acceptable), English fluency, and knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office; licensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
• Two to four years preferred.
• Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and the internet.
• Preferred licensure

Responsibilities

• Performs/assists with all resident direct care needs and comforts of daily living as needed, including ADLs.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and supports daily activities and restorative nursing.
• Communicates professionally and reports changes in residents' conditions to supervisors.
• Assists nurses with vitals, documentation, and routine care tasks.
• Adheres to Resident Rights and confidentiality; documents accurately in EMR systems.
• Practices infection control and safety protocols; supports meal service and hydration.
