Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach seeks a Part-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-5:30pm). You will perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists to maintain high-quality imaging.

Candidates should have ARRT RT(N) or CNMT, BLS, and at least an Associate or Bachelor's in a related field, with knowledge of scintigraphic equipment and departmental software.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human physiology.
• Knowledge of Scintigraphic equipment, Acquisition computers, and processing stations.
• Knowledge of Hot Lab equipment.
• Ability to learn and master new tasks related to Image Quality and Radiation Safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment meets quality control requirements and performs patient examinations with age-appropriate techniques.
• Collaborates with radiologists for appropriate imaging and continuity of care.
• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures with camera acquisition and computer processing.
• Maintains room readiness and documents work orders for malfunctioning equipment.
• Records quality control data and exam charges in the Nuclear Medicine Information System.
