Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors delivering military health services to service members in North Dakota. Most work occurs on weekends with occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program; you set your own frequency and travel to various installations, including remote sites.

Active NP licensure, CPR/BLS, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

Active NP license in the state (North Dakota)
CPR/BLS Certification required
Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred
Experience with mobile medical services preferred
Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology preferred
Adaptable to fast-paced environments with high daily patient volumes
Able to work extended hours and travel to various locations including remote military installations
Weekend availability preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Basic computer knowledge and skills

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel
Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires
Interview service members to determine medical concerns
Identify urgent concerns including Behavioral Health
Document interview results in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system
