Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
• Registered Sonographer with RDMS/RVT/RDCS or ARRT(S) certification.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification and state licensure as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; schedule exams and educate patients about procedures.
• Position patients and perform ultrasound imaging; select exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Ensure safety standards; perform QC and troubleshoot equipment; document and report results.
