Job summary

Freight Breakers LLC is seeking a dependable Warehouse Shift Lead to oversee weekend night operations at our Utah warehouse. You will coordinate the team, monitor productivity, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership and clear communication with customers and management.

The Shift Lead will guide associates, track trailer progress, and support seamless shift handoffs while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse operations and teams.
• Familiar with shipping, receiving, loading/unloading.
• Proficient with WMS and inventory control.
• Strong organizational and safety focus.
• Excellent communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record team attendance, punctuality, and staffing.
• Conduct safety checks and address hazards.
• Review daily production goals and distribute workload.
• Monitor trailer progress and productivity targets.
• Track team locations, assignments, and progress.
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment activity and updates.
• Train and mentor new warehouse associates on procedures.
• Provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
• Monitor shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading activities.
• Identify operational challenges and implement efficiency improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
• Ensure proper handoff between shifts.
