Job summary

dfa is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 3pm-1am shift, Monday through Friday. The role involves maintenance and repair of production, processing, and packaging equipment, plus related utilities, with a $28.56/hour base pay and $2.00/hour shift premium.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2–4 years in maintenance or related mechanical/electrical fields. Trade school preferred; PLC/HMI experience a plus. Must read English and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from trade/technical school preferred in electrical, mechanical, PLC/HMI, refrigeration, etc.
• 2–4 years maintenance/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and/or repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems following safety procedures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to assess reliability and performance.
• Read and interpret technical procedures, schematics, service manuals, and work orders.
• Support installation of new equipment and assist operators with troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Complete work orders accurately and document repairs per SOPs.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with GMP, health, and sanitation standards.
