Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking an RN for a Weekender Flex role in a 32-bed medical-surgical unit. You will provide direct nursing care to adults and geriatrics, with a focus on flexible weekend and night scheduling in Medina, OH.

The position requires BSN (preferred), and at least 1 year of acute care RN experience with active RN licensure and BLS certification. You will collaborate with the care team to implement care plans and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• One year of current acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• Current state licensure as an RN.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
