Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our chiller manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

You will drive production scheduling, staffing, and process optimization while championing lean practices and waste reduction. A strong technical background and coaching mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, or related industries.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
• Strong team management, coaching, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to leadership.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of production employees, maintaining a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
• Plan and monitor daily production schedules to meet output targets, deadlines, and customer requirements.
• Apply lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering and maintenance to resolve issues.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and testing protocols for chiller production.
