Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in a chiller manufacturing facility. The role requires hands-on leadership, a strong technical foundation, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement on the production floor.

The candidate will oversee staffing, schedules, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain to drive efficiency and output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment, preferably HVAC or refrigeration.
• Familiarity with chiller systems and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Hands-on leadership style with coaching and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to meet output targets and safety standards.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of production employees and coordinate workloads.
• Drive lean initiatives, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance on the floor.
