Neogen Corporation in Lansing, MI seeks a Manufacturing Team Lead for weekend night shift to oversee a production area. You will be hands-on while coordinating a small team, ensure on-time delivery, and communicate with the Manufacturing Manager to meet targets.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing, leadership experience, and familiarity with cGMP/ISO standards; experience in label manufacturing is a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of related work experience in manufacturing or machine operation.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with cGMP and ISO standards is desirable.
• Experience in label manufacturing is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in daily production tasks.
• Operate and support key manufacturing equipment (labeling, lamination, web handling).
• Serve as hands-on operator while supervising team efforts.
• Liaise between Manufacturing Manager and machine operators for clear communication.
• Schedule team activities to align with production planning requirements.
• Supervise and support team members in day-to-day operations.
• Provide backup coverage for team members when required.
• Assemble product components to meet quality targets.
• Monitor and report production performance and team metrics.
• Identify training needs and provide coaching for upskilling.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
