Elbit Systems of America, LLC is seeking an engineering technician for weekend night shifts (6 PM – 6 AM) to assist in daily operations and maintain manufacturing equipment for night vision image intensifiers. The role involves hands-on work with tools, optimization of processes, and training production staff to improve quality and efficiency.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in engineering or related experience, 2+ years in manufacturing, strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an Engineering field or related work experience.
• 2+ years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and trouble-shooting techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
• Must have the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
• Experience training others.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
• Must be able to comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and Company Policies.
• Able to work an off-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations and maintenance of manufacturing equipment/processes.
• Interact with equipment and operators to improve yield and productivity.
• Develop and implement process improvements and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Train production employees to improve work processes and product quality.
• Read and follow procedures and apply Lean and Six Sigma tools.
