Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience REQUIRED: 6 to 12 months of on-the-job training in security or related college coursework.
• Experience PREFERRED: 1 year of security, public safety or law enforcement work experience.
• Education/training REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Education/training PREFERRED: Associate Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides security services to staff, visitors, and patients while enforcing hospital rules and maintaining a safe environment.
• De-escalates agitated individuals and prevents potentially risky or violent situations.
• Acts as a professional representative to support hospital and community relations.
