Job summary

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation · Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend night shifts (Sat/Sun/Mon, 7:00pm–7:30am) on the Specialty Hospital unit. This full-time role includes a sign-on bonus and opportunities to support patients recovering from complex conditions.

The RN will apply the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and the care team, supervise staff, and uphold safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
RN license required
BLS/CPR required; ACLS within six months of employment
PCCN certification preferred (must be acquired within 2 years)
Good Shepherd requires influenza vaccination for all staff

Responsibilities

Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team
Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends
Supervise assigned personnel and delegate care as appropriate
Ensure safe medication administration and maintain infection control standards
Maintain current BLS/ACLS affirmations and participate in required trainings
