Job summary

Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Inpatient Rehab on weekend nights (Fri–Sun or Sat–Mon). A $20,000 commitment bonus is offered for a two-year agreement.

The role requires a NC or compact RN license, ASN, and BLS certification, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, document thoroughly, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes across progress

Qualifications

• Requires current RN license in North Carolina (or compact license)
• ASN from an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• One year RN experience preferred
• Relocation may require license update to new PSOR

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection and other treatments
• Documents patient care provided
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility
• Collaborates across disciplines for transfer, discharge and referrals
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age and condition
• Advocates for patient physical and emotional well-being
• Ensures quality of care by measuring outcomes against goals and standards
• Delivers compassionate, high-quality care across diverse needs
• Uses clinical expertise to guide individualized plans of care
• Acts as patient-care innovator using latest technology and best practices
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to enhance outcomes
