Vibra Healthcare, LLC. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Long Term Acute Care facility in Mayfield, KY. This full-time weekend night role (Fri-Sun) includes a $3000 sign-on bonus.

Under supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Manager, you will operate a range of respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment. You will care for adults and geriatrics, explain procedures, document education, manage ventilators and participate in weaning, perform trach care, and maintain records.

Qualificações

• Licensed respiratory practitioner with state license.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• Experience with adult/geriatric patients in LTAC settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Care for adults and geriatrics (18+).
• Explain treatments and document patient education.
• Set up, operate, and monitor respiratory equipment and devices.
• Operate ventilators and participate in weaning under physician direction.
• Record treatments and patient responses; update MARs.
• Perform trach care and suctioning per policy.
• Maintain ventilation during CPR and assist as needed.
• Prepare and maintain respiratory care equipment; log checks.
