Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to deliver exceptional patient service and maintain efficient department operations. You will support caregivers by coordinating administrative tasks and patient records in a fast-paced setting.

The role includes weekend night shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) with alternating weekend and holiday requirements, offering growth and exposure to a Magnet Hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a customer service-related role.
• Experience with typing, computer training or equivalent coursework.

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome and orient newly admitted or transferred patients.
• Respond to patient call lights and make rounds.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Assist patients and families with wayfinding and resources.
• Assemble and maintain patient records and related documents.
• Troubleshoot unit devices and call system equipment.
