Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I to join the Radiology team on a 24-hour per week schedule with weekend shifts and flexible hours.

The role requires performing radiographic procedures under minimal supervision and supporting radiologists and physicians in obtaining high-quality diagnostic images. Responsibilities include proper patient preparation, positioning, and image quality, with emphasis on ALARA and radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Radiography Program accredited by ARRT.
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License required.
• Current ARRT registration (within 1 year of licensure) and BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures with minimal supervision.
• Prepare patients and position for exams, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Assist radiologist with contrast administration and imaging views as required.
• Adhere to ALARA and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain infection control, HIPAA compliance, and proper documentation.
