Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree, Allied Health; Bachelors preferred.
• Experience: 1 year as Radiologic Technologist.
• Licensure/ Certifications: ARRT RT/CT registration; ARRT certification; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT imaging examinations (scheduled and emergency).
• Review requisitions and determine appropriateness of CT procedures.
• Identify patients with two identifiers.
• Explain the exam and discuss radiation exposure (ALARA) with patients/guardians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA.
