Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Thomasville, GA is hiring CNC Machinists for weekend night shifts (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 pm–7:00 pm). The role involves operating CNC, EDM, and manual machines, reading drawings, setting up tools, and ensuring high-precision results. Sign-on bonuses up to $5,000 are offered for II and III levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNC Machinist I: no experience; II: 3+ years CNC operation; III: 5+ years CNC operation.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future; ITAR/EAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, method sheets, and process docs to determine machining requirements and sequence.
• Operate manual and CNC machine tools for precision turning, milling, boring, and drilling.
• Set up machines and adjust precision tools based on skill level.
• Compute dimensions and tolerances; measure and lay out workpieces; maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect parts with precision gauges and fixtures to ensure conformance to specs.
• Adjust feeds and speeds to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machine function, tooling, and dimensional issues; perform routine maintenance.
