Memorial Hermann Health System in Katy, TX is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist for 6:30pm–7am shifts, with Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays workdays. The role requires CST certification and BLS, and ortho experience is a plus.

The position is located at Memorial Hermann Katy and involves perioperative care in a fast-paced OR setting. As part of our team, you will assist surgeons, maintain asepsis, and ensure equipment readiness.

Formación

• Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS and NBSTSA or NCCT.
• Experience/Knowledge: New Grad <1 year; Surg Tech I/II/III levels.

Responsabilidades

• Provide competent perioperative patient care with required equipment and instrumentation.
• Serve as scrub assistant to the physician during operative and invasive procedures.
• Work under supervision of a Registered Nurse and as outlined in the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory.
• Demonstrate aseptic technique and ensure supplies/instruments are available for procedures.
• Ensure safe patient care within policies, procedures, and budget; manage time and supplies.
• Mentor and orient less experienced staff; participate in ongoing education and training.
• Other duties as assigned.
