zTrip is seeking a Weekend Night CDL Route Driver in Fort Collins for safe, reliable passenger transportation on designated routes during overnight hours. This role offers a consistent weekend schedule with a defined shift from 9:30 PM to 3:30 AM and the chance to serve the community while representing a growing transportation company.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles on assigned routes while following traffic laws and company policies.

Position Overview

As a Weekend Night CDL Route Driver, you will safely transport passengers along designated routes during overnight hours while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. Key Responsibilities of aWeekend Night CDL Route Driver:

Passenger Transportation

• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport passengers along assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensure timely and reliable pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Provide assistance to passengers as needed.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for all riders.

Route Operations

• Follow designated routes and service schedules.
• Monitor traffic, road conditions, and service disruptions.
• Communicate delays, incidents, and operational concerns to dispatch and management.
• Maintain route efficiency and service reliability throughout each shift.
• Adhere to all transportation regulations and company operating procedures.

Vehicle Safety & Inspections

• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or safety concerns.
• Complete required inspection reports and operational documentation.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for service.
• Verify all equipment is functioning properly before beginning each route.

Customer Service Excellence

• Provide courteous, professional, and respectful service.
• Assist passengers with questions and travel-related concerns.
• Address service issues professionally and promptly.
• Represent zTrip with integrity and professionalism.
• Ensure every passenger enjoys a positive transportation experience.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with CDL and passenger transportation requirements.
• Utilize defensive driving techniques at all times.
• Immediately report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns.
• Prioritize the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and fellow motorists.

Qualifications of aWeekend Night CDL Route Driver:

Required

• Valid CDL Class B License or higher.
• Passenger (P) Endorsement required.
• Clean driving record and strong safety mindset.
• Ability to work overnight weekend shifts.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Preferred

• Previous experience operating shuttle buses, transit vehicles, motorcoaches, or passenger transportation vehicles.
• Experience in transportation, hospitality, tourism, or customer service environments.
• Familiarity with passenger safety procedures and vehicle inspections.
• Knowledge of local roadways and transportation routes.
