Job summary

Marvin Composites is hiring an Automation & Controls Technician for the Fargo, ND location on our weekend shift. The role focuses on automation troubleshooting, repairs, and supporting day-to-day operations on the plant floor.

You will work with Maintenance Technicians, Engineers, and Operations to diagnose problems in real time, keep production running, and contribute to control panel upgrades and schematic improvements.

Qualifications

Two-year technical degree preferred in Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field.
Three+ years of relevant experience in industrial automation or control systems may substitute for a degree.
PLC programming experience or training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for PLC-controlled automation and control systems.
Diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
Perform wiring, sensor replacement, and control panel troubleshooting on schedule.
Document repair requests and track issues using maintenance systems.
Collaborate with maintenance, operations and engineering to support safe, efficient production.
