Job summary

Marvin Composites is seeking an Automation & Controls Technician for the weekend shift at our Fargo, ND location. You will hands-on troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems, support control panel upgrades, and assist with wiring and schematics on the plant floor.

You will work with Maintenance Technicians, Engineers and Operations to ensure equipment reliability and production uptime, with a compensation package including a night shift premium.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree preferred, such as Mechatronics, Industrial technology, or a related field.
• Three or more years of relevant experience with industrial automation or control systems may substitute for a degree.
• PLC programming experience or education preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively throughout various department levels

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance support for PLC‑controlled automation and control systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
• Perform timely machine wiring, sensor replacement, control panel troubleshooting support.
• Utilize maintenance systems to document repair requests, track issues, and support preventive maintenance activities.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to support safe and efficient production
