A Nanny Match is seeking an energetic, proactive nanny/family assistant for an active family on the Upper East Side, New York. The role supports two school-age children during every other weekend, including overnight stays; accommodation includes a private bedroom during weekends.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of nanny experience, strong English communication, and a proactive, collaborative approach to help weekends run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nanny experience.
• Experience caring for school-age children and supporting growing independence.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Proactive in planning and follow-through.
• Comfortable staying overnight during scheduled weekends.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing activity schedules.
• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and support the children’s safety and well-being.
• Plan engaging activities, outings, and opportunities for physical exercise.
• Coordinate soccer schedules and accompany the children to games and activities, including occasional trips outside the city.
• Support homework completion.
• Encourage reading, creative activities, and time away from devices.
• Prepare meals and snacks and encourage healthy eating habits.
• Assist with the children’s morning and bedtime routines.
• Help with family laundry, dishes, and daily tidying to keep the home organized.
• Run family-related errands
• Communicate regularly with the parents and adapt as plans change.
