British American Household Staffing is seeking a warm, experienced Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The role runs 2:00 PM–6:30 PM, Monday to Friday, caring for a three-year-old daughter after school activities and providing light household support before pick-up.

There is guaranteed two evenings of babysitting each month and optional hours during school holidays. The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and able to form a trusting relationship with the child,

Qualifications

• Strong professional nanny experience with preschool-aged children.
• Warm, engaging and confident with young kids.
• Comfortable with sole-charge care.
• Proactive, flexible and willing to pitch in as needed.
• Comfortable with laundry, ironing and general household support.
• Organised and able to manage time independently.
• Reliable, punctual and good communicator.
• Able to work collaboratively with parents.
• Seeking a stable, long-term position within the family household.

Responsibilities

• Collect the child from school or after-school activities.
• Provide warm, attentive, engaging care in the afternoon.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate play.
• Keep belongings, toys and spaces organised.
• Assist with family laundry and ironing.
• Tidy and organise general areas of the home.
• Load/unload dishwasher and assist light upkeep.
• Put away groceries and deliveries as required.
• Run occasional local errands and returns.
• Support other practical household tasks as needed.
• Provide about two evenings of babysitting per month, with advance scheduling.
