Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke is seeking an MRI Technologist for weekend shifts to perform MRI imaging procedures and operate specialized equipment. The role requires safe handling of IV contrast and accuracy in image acquisition for patients of all ages.

The candidate should have ARRT MRI certification or be eligible and hold AHA BLS-HCP certification. There is a sign-on bonus up to $30,000 and relocation assistance up to $7,000.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program is required.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification is required.
• MRI certification/registration by ARRT (or equivalent) or eligible for MRI advanced certification.

Responsibilities

• MRI imaging procedures and operation of MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform IV contrast injections as required.
• Process patients including scheduling and registration as needed.
• Maintain MRI registry and pursue CEUs for accreditation.
• Assist in training students and staff as assigned.
