Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Part-time Weekend MRI Technologist I to join MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, every other week, 7am to 7:30pm, providing MRI imaging services to a diverse patient population.

Under supervision, you will perform routine and specialized MRI procedures, ensuring safety, accuracy, and high-quality diagnostic images while coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Certificate in radiologic technology or MRI program required.
• MRI experience or cross-training completed; prior work experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI examinations across diverse patient populations, applying appropriate factors and protocols to ensure high-quality images.
• Screens and prepares patients, verifies orders, administers contrast, establishes IV access, and supports patient safety and comfort.
