Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time weekend shift at Round Rock, TX. The role requires MRI education, certification, and clinical experience to perform diagnostic MRI procedures under Radiologist supervision.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - HS Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - American Reg MRI Tech (ARMRIT), ARRT-MR or ARRT-R credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations per physician orders and department standards.
• Review imaging requests and patient histories to ensure correct examination.
• Conduct comprehensive MRI safety screenings for patients and staff.
• Explain MRI procedures and help patients feel comfortable.
• Position patients and select appropriate coils, sequences and settings.
• Monitor image quality and adjust parameters for diagnostic results.
• Maintain documentation and enter imaging records in systems.
• Maintain MRI equipment, supplies and work areas to standards.
• Participate in call coverage if required.
