Aurora St. Luke’s is seeking a Weekend Program MRI Technologist to join a state-of-the-art imaging team. You will perform a range of advanced MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with experienced technologists in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes high-quality image acquisition, patient care, and ongoing professional growth within a supportive leadership structure. Weekend shifts run 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM on Sat, Sun, and Mon, with benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• No experience required.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic exams.
• Obtains medical history, checks requisitions, and administers contrast media per Radiologist guidance.
• Positions patient, selects scanning factors, and ensures image quality and safety.
• Post-processes images and correctly labels patient data.
• Maintains radiology records and documents billing codes for procedures.
• Performs QA tests and reports equipment issues.
• Handles patient positioning and transport with proper technique.
• Provides care aligned with age-specific needs and department policies.
