Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s is seeking a Weekend Program MRI Technologist to join a high‑performing team in a state‑of‑the‑art MRI environment. This role offers 32 hours per week with a schedule spanning Friday to Monday nights.

You will operate multiple MRI scanners, perform advanced exams including Cardiac, Neuro, Body and Musculoskeletal imaging, and uphold patient safety and imaging quality while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• MRI certification CAMRT/ARMRIT or RT registration with ARRT within 2 years.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic exams (MSK, neuro, body).
• Obtain history, verify orders, and administer contrast under Radiologist direction.
• Position patients, adjust scanning factors, and ensure safety and image quality.
• Post‑process images, label files, and document billing codes for accurate charges.
• Identify equipment issues and perform QA tests; assist with new product evaluation.
• Assist with patient handling, lifting, and transfer while following safety guidelines.
