Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, WI is seeking a Weekend Imaging Patient Assistant for the MRI department. The role supports patient transport, IV starts, and workflow alongside technologists on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30am to 6pm.

This 0.5 FTE position includes benefits and a weekend premium of $5/hour on top of base pay. Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• IV insertion and venipuncture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exam preparation and transport between areas.
• Operate radiology systems to generate requisitions and check schedules.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms and assist with equipment cleaning.
• Greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments and relay information.
• Coordinate between ordering physician, radiologist, and technologist.
