Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors delivering health readiness services to military personnel, primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays in Alaska.

You will review records, conduct health assessments, and document readiness data using a proprietary system while collaborating with supervising physicians where required. This role supports USAR, ARNG, USNR, MARFORRES, USCGR, ANG, and USAFR facilities.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred.
• Able to travel and work weekend hours; remote military installations - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
