Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants as independent contractors to provide services to military service members in Hawaii, primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays, as needed.

Responsibilities include health readiness assessments, reviewing records, interviewing personnel, and documenting results in a proprietary system. Flexibility for travel to remote installations and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in Hawaii.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
