Job summary

DOCS Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner to serve as an independent contractor, supporting military personnel during weekends and occasional weekdays under RHRP in Montana and remote locations. You will perform health assessments, review records, and interview service members to determine medical concerns, with documentation in the military health record.

Applicants should hold an active NP license, CPR/BLS, and have experience in primary/urgent care or occupational health.

Qualifications

Active NP license in the state where you practice (MT preferred).
CPR/BLS certification required.
Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
Experience with mobile medical services preferred.
Knowledge of military systems, protocols and terminology preferred.
Ability to work extended hours and travel to remote locations.

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
