Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors serving military service members in Montana on a weekend-focused basis with some weekday hours under RHRP as needed.

Responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing medical histories, interviewing personnel, and documenting readiness classifications in the designated system. Candidates should hold an active NP license in the state, CPR/BLS, and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills essential.
• Experience in primary/urgent/occupational health preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history and medical records, service member questionnaires.
• Interview personnel to determine medical concerns and readiness.
• Identify urgent concerns including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results in the service member's medical record using the proprietary system.
