Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors to support military service members through the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP). The role focuses on health assessments and readiness documentation, primarily on weekends in Montana with some weekday coverage as needed.

A state PA license and CPR/BLS are required, with preference given to those with military health experience.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state of Montana.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.
• Able to adapt to fast-paced environments with high daily volume.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
