Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants to serve as independent contractors supporting military partners. The role focuses on weekend work with occasional weekdays across locations, including remote installations, under RHRP health readiness programs.

Requirements include an active PA license in the state, CPR/BLS, and experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health. Travel and flexible hours are expected; background checks and E-Verify usage may apply.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the required state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or occupational health.
• Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology preferred.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments with high patient volumes.
• Able to travel and work weekends as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the medical record using a proprietary system.
