Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to partner as independent contractors to provide health services to U.S. military service members in Montana and surrounding areas.

The role emphasizes weekend work with occasional weekdays as needed, under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP). You will support health assessments, review medical histories, and interview service members to determine current and prior concerns.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in MT is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience in Primary/Occupational Health or Urgent Care is preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems and terminology is preferred.
• Able to work extended hours and travel to various locations, including remote military installations.
• NotRequired to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications.

Responsibilities

• Support health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history and medical records.
• Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the medical record.
