Responsibilities

• Operate feed milling machinery including grinders, mixers, pellet mills, and conveyors.
• Understand mixing orders and feed delivery schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality and consistency.
• Load and unload trucks for appropriate orders.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning to prevent breakdowns.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Record production data such as batch sizes, machine settings, and quality control results.
• Communicate with supervisors and maintenance staff regarding equipment issues or production concerns.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and coordinating repairs.
• Adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in the mill and warehouse as needed.
• Support with sanitation, housekeeping, and general upkeep of the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
