Job summary

Intermountain Electronics seeks a Metal Fabricator for the Weekend Shift in Price, Utah. You will fabricate, lay out, position, align and assemble metal structures using welding, cutting torches, grinders and related tools in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires MIG welding proficiency, the ability to read drawings, and 2 years of fabricating experience. Expect regular weekend hours, safety compliance, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years welding fabrication experience or equivalent.
• Able to discern correct welding applications.
• Must be proficient in MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret shop/engineering drawings.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds and work on elevated platforms.

Responsibilities

• Layout, position, and assemble metal parts from drawings.
• Weld using MIG process in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
• Tack structures to meet tolerances; repair and rework as needed.
• Operate shear, break press, drills; assist with material handling.
• Maintain tools and equipment; ensure safety and cleanliness.
