Job summary

Stellar Senior Living’s Lakewood Reserve is seeking a Weekend Memory Care Life Enrichment Assistant for Saturdays and Sundays in Lakewood, CO. The role focuses on hosting dance parties, crafts, games, and reminiscence activities to bring energy and joy to residents living with memory loss.

You’ll create meaningful moments, lead group activities, and engage residents one-on-one, all while promoting a fun, supportive team environment. Weekend availability and a caring attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Memory Care experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Experience working with seniors and understanding their unique needs.
• Fun, friendly, patient, and outgoing personality.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Comfortable leading group activities and providing one-on-one engagement.
• Creative, energetic, and willing to bring new ideas.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Comfortable working with residents living with dementia and memory loss.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds, including tables and chairs.
• Able to obtain/maintain a Food Handler's Permit.

Responsibilities

• Lead games, trivia, and brain activities.
• Host music, dancing, and sing-alongs.
• Create fun arts and crafts projects.
• Lead gentle exercise and movement activities.
• Bake or cook with residents.
• Host parties, celebrations, and themed events.
• Enjoy outdoor activities and walks.
• Create sensory and reminiscing activities.
• Provide meaningful one-on-one engagement.
• Get to know residents' interests, stories, and favorite things.
• Bring your own creative ideas to make weekends FUN!
