Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Technologist with experience in hematology, chemistry and microbiology.
• Experience with urinalysis and microscopic examination preferred.
• Familiarity with CLIA and OSHA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens and perform hematology, chemistry and microbiology testing in house.
• Perform urinalysis, microscopy, rapid strep screens and throat cultures.
• Prepare specimens for reference laboratory when needed.
• Maintain instrument calibration and quality assurance per CLIA standards.
• Document results and communicate with providers through Allscripts EHR.
