Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Technologist with appropriate board certification.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Experience in pediatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens and perform hematology, chemistry and microbiology testing in house.
• Utilize Allscripts Electronic Health Record for reporting tests and communicating with providers.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration and standardization of laboratory instruments.
• Maintain quality assurance and CLIA compliance; assist in inspections.
• Keep daily/ monthly statistics of laboratory tests and manage inventory.
