Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital - Lab in Elkin, NC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with ASCP BOC or AMT certification within 1 year to join a full-time laboratory team. The position requires 36 hours per week with a weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday) and a 5:30 am–6:00 pm shift, with benefits eligibility.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in Clinical Lab Technician or related field and will perform, evaluate, and monitor laboratory tests, ensure quality

Qualifications

• Performs and monitors laboratory tests within established protocols.

Responsabilités

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests according to approved protocols.
• Monitors workflow and adjusts to complete work efficiently.
• Ensures accuracy and timely reporting of results.
• Performs calibration and maintenance of instruments and quality control.
• Provides support to Phlebotomists and staff.
• Supports transfusion services, microbiology, chemistry, hematology, histology, coagulation, and flow cytometry testing.
